[To sum up Ein's current feelings: The human realm was weird.
The Academy that he was attending had felt like the guilds that he's been to at home... But compared to there, Ein was shocked at how peaceful things were around here. Every now and again, he'd still suffer that jolt of culture shock at the difference between this world and Asgard. It was hard enough to say that he came from a far away realm and was here to investigate an ancient evil. He had plans to talk to people more about the rumored monster attacks that happened around here... Maybe that would've lead to something big.
But those plans of his were completely derailed. Because he found himself drafted as an errand boy for Kirara Amanogawa. Most guys would've been dropping at their knees, but Ein could hardly find excitement since it was morning and he was still feeling sleepy. He was already dozing off on the bus ride to the city.]

[it's just a normal day in lilycove city. the sun is shining, the taillows are tweeting, the wingulls are pooping on beach goers. the usual. you almost couldn't tell the world almost ended a couple of weeks ago.
how archie can actually go out into the open without immediately being arrested is honestly anyone's guess. the international police were informed of what he did, but so far he has yet to even be investigated. hell, he's not even sure himself if he's going to end up in jail or not - screwing around with legendary pokémon and actually succeeding is... not an easy thing to pin down. despite this, archie has not been pushing his luck; he's been staying in the base as much as he can, usually going out at night. he hates having to sneak about like a non-entity out of fear that he'd drag his entire team down with him, but he brought it on himself. the paranoia is in part genuine fear of ruining the lives of his grunts more than he already has.

the only reason archie had even decided to come out (in normal clothes instead of his wetsuit and a plain bandana instead of the aqua one) is because shelly had been coming the news stations and bizarrely, team aqua was only mentioned in passing. there was no mention of "if you see the leader or members report them immediately," so he'd elected to take the risk and go to the pokémart level of the department store.
